 This 3W High Power LED Bulb is amazingly bright, with almost 200 lumens of light emitted and just over 3 W of power consumed.  We measured 61 lumens per Watt.  A very impressive bulb. 

This bulb has an attractive and recyclable aluminum heat sink.  The LEDs are driven pretty hard to produce this light and the expected bulb life to 80% brightness is 30 000 h, less than usual for LEDS.

It uses LEDs instead of standard  filaments, this bulb never gets hot and uses only 3 watts of power.

It's safer - has no mercury.
